What is it about birthdays that either make you love or hate them?  I have had a few of each but since this is a celebration (Happy um 29th Birthday Ella Jade) I am going to tell you about a very memorable birthday of mine.  My hubby and I have been together for a long time ( since 1988 give or take a few years) and I have always complained that he never surprises me.  Well, 2 years ago he SURPRISED ME for my birthday – he even kept it a secret until the day before we were leaving!  He got a babysitter so we could spend a romantic, kid-free, weekend at a couples resort in the Pocono Mountains. It came at a perfect time in our long relationship.  We laughed, loved, lounged about and reconnected with one another – physically & emotionally.  It was wonderful!!!!
